$100 bar tab: Federal House, the place where you can't have just one.

Definitly one of the top bars in downtown annapolis. I go downtoen all the time and fed house is definitly one that i do not get sick of. They have dancing unlike most bars with space around the dance floor to hang out. The happy hour specials are pretty good as well as the food. If you havent tried this bar I'd recommend it, cuz like i said it's actually different than the other bars in annapolis which are pretty much all the same. Fed house also has plenty of beers on tap, so if your crowd is in to different taste or you like trying new or different beers then there is another reason to head on up there. Also, a good place to go during the day for tourist or on a nice weekend since it is in the heart of annapolis right by the water and the market place.

FH is a nice place to hang and enjoy the downtown/dockside Annapolis scene. The building inside and out fits well the historical charm of the area. The food is good and the drinks are well-priced. I personally enjoy sitting outside for dinner and people watching, but this is easiest on a weekday/night, as the warm months bring loads of tourist to Annapolis, and the outside seating is always first to fill-up. Finally, FH is a great starting or finishing point for spending time exploring the area's local pub/dining scene.

fun place to go, gets a bit too packed at times, adding beer tubs where people eat during the day would be clutch. good service, haven't seen anything to crazy but i also missed the soja show :( bring em back!!!!!!

Knock down the market house and put a rooftop deck on Federal House. I am thinking hammocks.

Was in the Federal House Friday before last....4 bartenders an couldn't get the time of day...not crowded because it was early...assume they were all wore out from putting on their kick ball shirts spent $100 on some munchies and beer....finally had one Female Bartender who knew why she was there... gave us good service....tipped her well...went back on last Monday night..5 people at the bar..two female bartenders both disapeared for 10 minuets...I timed it by a cell phone call when I got there... came back with two bags of food to go..guy next to me said it was like this since he got there..nothing but empty glasses at the bar...finally walked out..Going to Federal/Griffins for 20 years...always good service on the floor...normaly good service at the bar...Last six months...Will assume evryone working the bar hit the Lotto and just working their for Sh*** and Giggles and doesn't need the money...

At least I you can dance here without having to worry about getting stuck. One of the neatest looking bar set-ups downtown. Sometimes there's a pretty bad odor, though.

Visited Maryland for a wedding and judging by the pictures I had a really fun time here although I kept calling it Fred's House.
